Is Cashcrate A Scam? My 2017 Review

Is Cashcrate A Scam? Are you looking for ways to make an extra buck? Chances are you have heard of Cash Crate. But you may be wondering, is Cashcrate A Scam? I’m gonna give you my review for 2017.

I heard about Crash Crate after seeing it on a Youtube video. Cash crate is a GPT (get-paid-to) site where you earn cash for completing offers, doing tasks, and participating in online surveys.

It is similar to most GPT sites. The main home page has tabs at the header of the site and then some on the main content which includes all sorts of offers along with some thumbnails.

The site has been around a good while and users from 13 upwards are eligible to sign up.

There is a $20 threshold that is required in order to request a check or a PayPal payment. Cash crate has a wall gallery where members upload images of their payments to prove that they really have been paid. Infact this is one of the ways you can earn (again many GPT sites offer this), by referring others to join. Cash Crate actively tells users post images of their earnings on the website.

Offers and Surveys, much?

The offers I have done so far are quite short and easy to fill out. Some take about 30 -60 seconds to fill out for each one.

You select which offers you would like to complete. You just simply click on the offer shown once you complete the offer, then you click the submit button. Cash Crate then verifies that you have completed it and then adds the funds to your account.

However a website is only as good as the content and offers. I find that Cash Crate lacks in being affiliated with partners and also the quality thereof.

Although there was a good bulk of surveys to get around, in this UK version of the site, the offers section was completely empty. This will become apparent for users residing in the UK, as the image above clearly states.

My findings were that there some good paid offers, but this is not something I am really interested in promoting on DollarsfromtheWeb.

The reason is that although you could find an offer, for example, a paid subscription, you could end up losing your money if you forget to cancel, or there was some technical glitch on their side.

Although, having said that, I spoke to a user on the site who took out an offer and they said they signed up to UK betting agency William Hill and got credited $20, with him depositing £10 and making a bet. That’s a little bit of profit for him in return.

But this is something that is entirely up to users if they decide to take up paid offers. Just know there is a possibility of risk involved. You just have to be savvy when taking up such offers.

Alot of the GPT sites have paid offers in their structure. But as I said before this site is all about making money for free, so that is the content I look for.

So is CashCrate A Scam?

No it isn’t. Users do make money from this site and indeed some of them even send pictures of their earnings (you can be sent checks in the post) to the Cash Crate website or even post them on their own blogs as proof of earnings.

I would say that with my personal use of this site was that the UK version in particular, lacked in offers (but this could be different for residents of the United States as some users tell me they made decent earnings) and that in honesty there are similar sites out there.

But there is some good news!

Anyone that wants to earn money can use this and if you have your own blog or have a good following on social media than you can make some decent earnings off your referrals!

The referral earnings are quite good as the site states you can earn a $3 bonus every time your referrals (from any country) earn their first $10.00.

Residents from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom will have the best results from Crash Crate. Although the site does state that members from other English speaking countries are eligible too.

So get signed up and get those referrals coming in!

That’s it for my ‘Is CashCrate A Scam? My 2017 Review’.

It is a solid decent site, but don’t expect to hear much from these guys.

I get an email from them once in a blue moon.

If you are from the United States then add a few more points on because I seen and heard from users there and they are saying they get surveys and even showing the cheque they receive as proof of payment. More opportunites for US people on this site.

    Hi there
Thanks for so much for a helpful review of Cashcrate.
I am in search of make money opportunities and am glad that Cash crate is not a scam.

It’s certainly something that I do not mind doing, as the task seems easy to do. The money though may not be as much.

You mentioned that you tried out the UK VERSION of Cashcrate. Do you reckon that the South African version will be any good? I reside in this country and was hoping to give it a go.

    Thanks for all the help

    • Hi, thanks Roopesh.

The UK version can be a bit quiet compared to it’s USA cousin. There is a lack of offers/surveys in the UK one. I’m guessing, just sign up and see how it goes for you.

  • This was an interesting post on CashCrate which i had never heard of until now. I am always looking for ways to expand my income portfolio and I can potentially add this to the collection.
It is important to be aware of new opportunities as the market is always changing.

    • I’m glad you liked it Dagda. This site was specifically created to look at such things. That is, sites or programs where people can make money for free in their spare time. As you rightly say, there is always new things around the corner, and myself and the team at Dollars Fom The Web are always on the lookout.
